Privacy policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
This policy covers Durgesh Rathod (AstroReads) and this website. We keep only what the service needs, and we never sell birth details or any personal data.
Without an account
Charts you make without logging in are kept in your browser (local storage) on your device, not on our servers. To compute a chart, your browser sends the birth details to our server, which answers and does not store them.
With an account
- Your name, email address and a password hash (or your Google sign-in).
- The profiles you save: names and birth details (date, time, place).
- Readings written for your profiles, so you are not charged twice for the same reading.
- For a paid report: the order (amount, status, the email and phone you give) and the PDF.
- The prompts and replies of AI readings, kept on our own servers to check their quality.
If you ask us to write to you
When you ask to be told about a feature, we keep the name and contact you give, only to write to you about it. The same holds for anyone who joined our early-access list before it closed.
Who processes it for us
- Cashfree Payments processes payments; we never see your card or bank details.
- An AI service writes the AI readings from chart facts our engine computes; those facts can include a profile's name and birth details.
- An email service delivers report emails, and a storage service keeps report PDFs.
- Google Analytics counts visits and which pages and features are used; it never gets birth details.
Cookies
One cookie, astro_session, keeps you logged in for up to 14 days. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga) to count visits and the pages and features used: it gets a page's address without its query (never birth details), with no advertising signals. A browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is not counted. There are no advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can delete a saved profile at any time from its page. To delete your account and its data, write to [email protected]; we do it within 30 days. Charts kept only in your browser are removed by clearing the site's data in your browser.
